The system utilizes two precision oval gear positive displacement flow sensors—one installed in the fuel supply line and the other in the return line—along with an intelligent fuel calculator. By subtracting the return fuel from the supplied fuel, the system provides precise real-time fuel consumption data for improved operational efficiency and fuel management. The integrated fuel calculator features built-in data storage, displays current flow rate, cumulative totals, running time, supply, return, and actual fuel consumption, and supports RS485, Pulse, Alarm, and 4–20 mA outputs for communication with PLC, SCADA, GPS, and remote monitoring systems.
