The Mechanical Oval Gear Flow Meter from Broil Sensotek Industries is a positive displacement volumetric flow meter designed for accurate and repeatable measurement of liquid flow without requiring electronic display components. It operates using two precision-machined oval gears housed within a measuring chamber. As liquid passes through the meter, the gears rotate, transferring a fixed volume of fluid with every revolution, ensuring highly accurate volumetric measurement across varying flow conditions and fluid viscosities. The flow meter incorporates a mechanical totalizing counter that provides direct local indication of total flow and features a resettable register for convenient batch measurement and dispensing applications. For process automation requirements, the meter is optionally available with a pulse output sensor, allowing integration with PLC, DCS, SCADA, batch controllers, and remote monitoring systems. Manufactured in anodized aluminum, SS316L stainless steel, or PPS, the meter is available in DN4 to DN150 line sizes with threaded or ANSI/ASME/DIN/JIS flanged connections. It supports operating pressures up to 250 bar, temperatures from −50°C to 200°C, and provides measurement accuracy of ±0.2% or ±0.5% of reading. Standard output options include Pulse, 4–20 mA, HART, RS-485, Alarm, while protection and hazardous-area certifications include IP67, ATEX, Ex ia, and Ex d.
