Product Description
The Broil Sandwich Vortex Flow Meter is a compact vortex shedding flow meter engineered for accurate measurement of steam, gases, and low-viscosity liquids in industrial process applications. Operating on the Kármán vortex principle, the meter detects vortices generated by fluid flowing past a bluff body, with the vortex frequency directly proportional to the flow velocity, enabling reliable volumetric and mass flow measurement. Its sandwich (wafer) connection design provides a compact, lightweight, and space-saving installation between pipeline flanges, making it ideal for applications with limited installation space. The meter contains no moving parts, resulting in minimal maintenance, long service life, and stable long-term performance. Optional pressure and temperature compensation enables accurate mass flow measurement under varying process conditions. The instrument supports 4–20 mA, Pulse, HART, RS-485, and Alarm outputs, allowing seamless integration with PLC, DCS, SCADA, and industrial automation systems. It is available with single or dual displays, pressure and temperature compensation options, and construction materials including SS304, SS316, Cast Steel, PTFE-lined, and Nylon-lined versions for corrosive and demanding environments.
