Product Description
The RF Admittance Level Switch from Brotek Instruments is a digital intelligent point level detection device designed for reliable monitoring of liquids, powders, granules, slurries, and conductive or non-conductive materials. Based on the principle of RF capacitance (admittance) measurement, the instrument continuously measures the capacitance between the sensing probe and the vessel wall using an advanced oscillating circuit. Variations in the material level change the capacitance value, allowing the integrated microcontroller to accurately detect the switching point and activate the configured output relay. This measurement method offers excellent stability, fast response, and high immunity to electromagnetic interference. The switch features a real-time digital capacitance display with simple one-key calibration, enabling automatic setting of alarm points and reducing commissioning time. Its advanced RF admittance technology effectively eliminates false switching caused by probe coating, material buildup, hanging material, dust, or moisture, ensuring dependable performance even in difficult process conditions. A wide selection of SS316, PTFE, Ceramic, and Kynar probes makes the instrument suitable for corrosive, abrasive, high-temperature, and high-pressure applications up to 800°C with ceramic probes and pressures up to 10 MPa. The RF Admittance Level Switch supports single-point alarm (DPDT), dual-point alarm (2 SPDT), and two-point liquid level control outputs for seamless integration with PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems. It is widely used in chemical and petrochemical plants, refineries, food & beverage processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, mining, wastewater treatment, and bulk material handling for reliable high-level and low-level alarms and process automation.
