The 80 GHz FMCW Radar Level Transmitter from Brotek Instruments is an advanced non-contact level measurement solution engineered for exceptional accuracy and reliability across a wide range of industrial applications. Operating in the 76–81 GHz frequency band, it utilizes Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) technology to provide precise, continuous level measurement for liquids, slurries, powders, and bulk solids, even under challenging process conditions. Its high operating frequency produces an extremely narrow beam angle, allowing accurate measurements in narrow tanks, vessels with internal obstructions, agitators, nozzles, and silos while minimizing false echoes. Advanced signal processing, intelligent echo filtering, and a high dynamic range ensure stable performance in environments containing dust, steam, foam, condensation, turbulence, or vapor, making it suitable for demanding industrial installations. The transmitter supports measuring ranges up to 120 meters, offers millimeter-level accuracy, and features multiple communication protocols including 4–20 mA, HART, RS-485, and Modbus for seamless integration with PLC, DCS, SCADA, and IIoT systems.
