Portable Ultrasonic flow meter with printer

The Portable Ultrasonic Flow Meter from Brotek Instruments delivers accurate non-invasive liquid flow measurement with an integrated printer and SD card logging. Its clamp-on sensors, rechargeable battery, and transit-time technology ensure reliable field performance.

Product Description

The Portable Ultrasonic Flow Meter from Brotek Instruments is a high-performance portable flow measurement instrument designed for accurate, non-invasive monitoring of liquid flow in closed pipelines. Utilizing advanced transit-time ultrasonic technology, the meter determines flow velocity by measuring the travel time difference of ultrasonic signals transmitted upstream and downstream. Its clamp-on transducers eliminate the need for pipe cutting, process shutdown, or interruption of flow, making it ideal for temporary measurements, commissioning, maintenance, energy audits, and system diagnostics. Designed for demanding field applications, the flow meter features an integrated thermal printer and built-in SD card data logging, enabling instant report generation and long-term storage of measurement data without external devices. The rechargeable battery provides up to 20 hours of continuous operation, while the large LCD backlit display offers clear visualization of flow parameters. Optional clamp-on transducers support a wide range of pipe diameters and operating temperatures, making the instrument suitable for steel, stainless steel, cast iron, copper, PVC, aluminum, fiberglass, cement, and lined pipelines. The instrument supports RS232, Pulse, Relay, and 4–20 mA outputs, allowing seamless integration with PLC, DCS, SCADA, and industrial automation systems. It also accepts pressure, temperature, and level inputs for advanced flow and heat energy measurement. Widely used in water and wastewater treatment, HVAC, chemical processing, oil & gas, power generation, food & beverage, irrigation, and industrial utilities, it provides reliable, maintenance-free flow measurement for both temporary and long-term applications.
