The Compact Diaphragm Sealed (CDS) unit by Brinda Industries (LA Pressure Gauges) is a specialized chemical seal designed to completely isolate the sensitive internal measuring elements of pressure gauges and pressure switches from harsh process fluids. It is the premier protective solution for applications involving highly corrosive media, extremely viscous fluids, sludges, sedimentation, or exceptionally high-temperature processes that would otherwise severely damage standard Bourdon tubes or capsule mechanisms. The core of the CDS unit is an AISI 316 SS diaphragm that is precision TIG Argon Arc welded directly to the heavy-duty AISI 304 SS body. This permanent, seamless weld ensures absolute physical separation between the process medium and the internal transmitting fluid (Silicon Oil DC-200), entirely preventing cross-contamination or pressure leakages. Engineered as a highly compact, space-saving isolation solution, the CDS supports dynamic pressure ranges extending from -1 up to 600 kg/cm² and continuous process temperatures up to 200°C.
