The Schaffer Diaphragm Pressure Gauge by Brinda Industries (LA Pressure Gauges) is a specialized mechanical pressure instrument engineered specifically for measuring low-pressure air, gases, and liquids containing suspended solid particles. Unlike standard Bourdon tubes which can easily clog, this gauge utilizes a robust circular diaphragm clamped securely between a pair of heavy-duty flanges. When pressure is applied, the physical displacement of the diaphragm is directly transferred via a precision mechanical link to the movement, ensuring highly accurate readings even with sludgy or particulate-heavy media. Built for demanding environments, the gauge features a weather-proof SS304 case (IP-55/56 rating, upgradable to IP-65) and a highly corrosion-resistant SS316L diaphragm. This rugged construction provides a built-in over-range protection of 1.3 times the maximum scale. It is the ideal measurement solution for low-pressure ranges spanning from 100 mmWC up to 10,000 mmWC, making it indispensable for liquid level measurement, fuel pumps, and heavy sludge pump monitoring.
