Sensewell’s FLP Annunciator is a highly critical, multi-channel alarm system engineered to monitor complex process parameters (temperature, pressure, level) and instantly alert operators to abnormal conditions in hazardous industrial zones. Housed in a heavy-duty Aluminum LM-6 or Stainless Steel Flameproof enclosure, it is explicitly certified (CIMFR, ATEX, IECEx) to ensure that internal sparks or heat do not ignite surrounding explosive gases (Gas Groups I, IIA, IIB, IIC) or combustible dust. Equipped with an advanced microcontroller, the system seamlessly accepts 4 to 48 input channels from various sensors and control switches. Upon detecting a process fault, it triggers a sequence of programmable alarms: bright, color-coded LED/Lamp indicators (e.g., red for critical, amber for warning) combined with a highly audible internal buzzer/hooter (80–100 dB) to ensure operator attention in noisy factories. Operators can acknowledge alarms via rugged push-buttons, safely silencing the audible alert while the visual indicator remains active until the underlying fault is fully resolved.
