Sensewell’s FLP Digital Temperature Indicator is a high-precision, microcontroller-based device engineered specifically to measure and display real-time temperature readings in the world's most hazardous and explosive industrial environments. The core electronics are securely housed in a rugged, heavy-duty Flameproof (FLP) enclosure (cast aluminum LM-6 or stainless steel), designed to completely contain any internal electrical sparks or heat. This ensures absolute safety in atmospheres classified as Zone 1 or Zone 2 (Gas Groups IIA, IIB, IIC). Fully certified to meet stringent safety standards (CIMFR, ATEX), this indicator seamlessly accepts signals from standard RTDs (Pt-100), Thermocouples (J, K, T, R, S), or 4-20mA analog inputs. The onboard microcontroller guarantees exceptional accuracy through advanced software calibration and cold junction compensation. The high-visibility LED or LCD display provides clear, precise readouts even in smoky or low-light factory conditions, making it an indispensable safety instrument for oil refineries, chemical processing, and petrochemical plants.
