Sensewell’s FLP Digital Temperature Scanner is a highly advanced, microcontroller-based monitoring instrument engineered to continuously scan and display temperature readings from multiple process points. Housed in an ultra-rugged, certified Flameproof (FLP) enclosure (constructed from heavy-duty Aluminum LM-6 or Stainless Steel), this unit is intrinsically designed to operate flawlessly in hazardous Zones 1 & 2 without risking the ignition of surrounding flammable gases or volatile vapors. By utilizing an automated scanning system, this unit eliminates the need for multiple single-channel devices, greatly simplifying control panel design and reducing costs. The scanner seamlessly cycles through all connected sensors (RTD Pt-100 or various Thermocouples) at programmable intervals (1–60 seconds), displaying real-time data on a high-visibility LED/LCD display. Equipped with high/low relay alarm outputs and optional RS485 Modbus for SCADA integration, it is the ultimate temperature safety monitor for Oil & Gas refineries, Petrochemical plants, and Pharmaceutical reactors.
