Air Heater (Without Fins)
Air heaters without fins are electric, bare-element tubular heaters built for harsh environments. Encased in durable alloys like stainless steel or Incoloy, their smooth design prevents clogging from dust or debris in high-velocity air streams.
Product Description
Air heaters without fins, often referred to as tubular air heaters or bare-element heaters, are versatile electric heating elements typically constructed from stainless steel, Incoloy, or other high-temperature alloys. These heaters consist of a high-resistance nickel-chromium wire encased in a metal sheath, heavily insulated with high-purity magnesium oxide (MgO) for efficient heat transfer and optimal electrical insulation. Unlike finned heaters, these bare-element air heaters rely entirely on their exposed tubular surfaces to directly heat the surrounding air. The absence of fins results in a simpler, highly robust design perfectly suited for harsh industrial environments. Where debris, dust, or high air velocities could easily damage, clog, or restrict airflow through delicate finned structures, a smooth tubular heater continues to operate efficiently. Their durability and resistance to fouling make them ideal for rugged industrial drying, curing, and forced-air heating applications where reliability under heavy particulate loads is an absolute requirement.
